Colorado Rural Electric Association Collection

The federal government authorized the REA in 1936, but it was not until 1948 that a Colorado association (CREA) was formed. The CREA oversees legislation, regulation and rural electrification, contributing to improved rural productivity and quality of life. This collection contains bound copies of Colorado Country Life, the association newsletter, as well as pamphlets and reports from the Colorado-Ute Electrical Association.
